Returning alumni are asked to present a talk: ten minutes is allotted for each presentation (PowerPoint format is recommended), followed by a 5-minute question and answer session. Talks should highlight current research. Moderators will observe time limits for each speaker. New requirementplease submit an abstract: To be considered to give a presentation you will need to send us a one page PDF file that includes the title of your talk and an abstract of your presentation. Note that topics relevant to reproductive science are preferred. We also request you do not repeat information you have presented at previous FIR symposiums. Travel funding preference will be given to first-time presenters, those submitting new research topics, and the fifth year reunion class. To prepare this abstract please use one inch margins all around and format the document using Times x12 font. The maximum document size is one page and it should be emailed to Dorianne Mebane, FIR Symposium Coordinator (dmebane@mbl.edu) no later than April 21. We will review all submitted abstracts and, shortly after the March deadline, we'll notify alumni about who has been selected to make presentations. Please know you are very welcome to attend the symposium even if we are unable to include your talk on the program. Please bring your PowerPoint file: if you are selected to make a presentation, please bring it to the symposium on a CD.
