Symposium Lodging Information
All symposium participants will be provided accommodations at the Nautilus Motor Inn, Woods Hole, a short walk from the village and MBL. Shuttle service will be available to our meeting facility at WHOI, just outside Woods Hole.
We will make a hotel room assignment for you based on information you provide in your On-line Symposium Registration Form. You will receive registration and reservation confirmation via e-mail
Arrival/Departure Dates: FIR will provide hotel rooms for check-in on Thursday, June 12 with departure Sunday, June 15. For our west coast & overseas travelers, FIR is also happy to provide a room on Wednesday, June 11. Accommodations for earlier or later dates are subject to surcharge of $75 to $150 per night.
Room Options:
Free Shared Rooms: There will be no hotel charge if you choose to share a double room with another FIRbee. Please indicate on the symposium registration form if you have a specific roommate in mind, otherwise we will assign roommates according to gender.
Private Accommodations at $75 per night: If you wish to occupy a room alone, or if you are bringing any guests (including children), we will bill you a surcharge of $75 per night for the private room. Please indicate on your registration form the ages of children and if a crib or cot is required.
Additional Rooms at $150 per night: If you plan to bring additional guests and require more than one room, you will be assessed a surcharge of $150 per additional room, per night.
